Back in the day, magazines in Vietnam came in interesting colors, textures & had imagery & styles of a era gone by, yet it is very contemporary, artful & attractive. We collected the magazines from junk/used magazine sellers and re-imagined them as the covers of these books.
These covers were made out of the actual magazines and not prints. All books are hand-crafted and made out of 100% re-cycled material. This series intends to give these vintage Vietnamese magazines a place in our future. Made in collaboration with 133 Co Bac. 500 books were made.
